[SIPForum-discussion] sending MESSAGE within existing dialog. Or not...

Hi all.
My question is: is it ok to send a Message req within an existing (voice-)
Dialog? I thought it was (since the rfc told me that a Message req can be
sent within a Dialog or without a Dialog, but the Message req doesn´t
establish a new one). However when testing with, for example x-lite the
message is not displayed. Did I completly misunderstand something here?
