Try Nortel IP PBX. They have SIP support and you can use either Nortel's
IP phone to connect to your office or some freeware (soft phone). Nortel
has wide variety of IP PBX to suite your requirement depending upon the
number of users and other things.

Reggie,

Choose a PBX that supports SIP. Asterisk is one of them and is an open
source freeware. You can install the same in your company if you want
something free and minimum cost.

Avaya, Cisco etc. are some companies who are leading vendors in IP PBX.
You can get the quote from them.

Remote users can download free softphones on their PCs (if they have
one) and that will free of cost. Softphones can be used to make calls
via your IP PBX. There are hard IP phones but they come with a price
tag.

Cheers,

Pinakee

Subject: [SIPForum-discussion] HOW TO IMPLEMENT SIP ON OUR IP
TELEPHONYTELEPHONE SYSTEM
Importance: High

Hi All:

The company that I work for will be moving next month to another
building as a result we have decided to go with another telephone
company. Our new telephony system will be an IP Telephony IPBX system.
Initially we were told by them that with an IPBX IP telephony base
system our remote users that work from their homes will be able to make
calls over the public internet through our IPBX box with an IP Telephone
that will be provided by them, just like Vonage.

Now they are telling us it won't be so simple as additional hardware
will have to be purchase that will cost us over $10,000. I'm not
convince that this is the case. So my question does anyone have an idea
how we can get this to work using the SIP protocol that I have been
reading about with IP Telephony IPBX telephone system, thank you?

Kind Regards
