[SIPForum-discussion] Authentication for third party registration in SIP

hi to all
   
  Can any one of you tell me that how the authentication is done in case of third party registration.
  And I need your help regarding why there is a need for third party registration in sip.
  How a third party (supposed Bob) will come to know that he has to register on the behalf of say "Alice".
  Is there any method suggessted by ietf for the authentication of third party registration.
  And who is to authenticate in this process either third person in my case "Bob" or the "Alice".
