[SIPForum-discussion] SIP vs H248

 Hello Everyone,

Not sure if the question is relevant for the forum, however would someone
please explain the main differences between SIP and H248. How and when do we
decide to use SIP or H248.

I have not heard of any Media Gateways supporting SIP, what limitations does
SIP have makes H248 used in these areas or what limitations does H248 have
that most CPE are SIP based and not H248.
