[SIPForum-discussion] A question about Registrator and Presence Agent

Hi,
I'm studing a SIP architecture and I have some questions that I want to ask
to you:

What difference exist by Reistration Server and Presence Agent?

I know that Registrator accept only SIP REGISTER request; all the other
request produce "501 Not Implemented".
Than, registrator does not accept SUBSCRIBE or NOTIFY that instead are
accepted by Presence Agent.
Than, my my doubt is: how does the comunication function in this
Architecture?

Maybe (I think) the registrator drawns the LS (Location Service) and then PA
interrogates it in order to answer to SUBSCRIBE?

Please if you have some document, rfc, white papers that can make me a
complete picture of the situation give it to me....
