[SIPForum-discussion] Need help about use of redirect server

Hello all,

I have questions about Redirect server and call forwarding. 

 

1 /  If I well understood forwarding, it is possible to do forwarding
from SIP UA like a phone or via the use of a redirect server, false or
true ?

 

2 / if answer to first question is true, what can lead me to choose
forwarding from UA versus redirect server, is it a design choice of
architecture ?

 

3/ if answer to first question is false, what can lead me to put a
redirect server in my SIP architecture ???
