[SIPForum-discussion] 407 challenge in a refer

Hi,

In an established dialogue my endpoint sends REFER to 10.1.1.100 proxy
server and it returns me 407 with a changed contact header. Now my
endpoint sends second REFER with credentials to new remote target that
it copied from contact header of 407.

 

My server partner arguing with me that I must not change remote target
that came in 407 contact header and should send challenged REFER to
original remote target.

 

Please help to clarify it.
