[SIPForum-discussion] Difference in DTMF payloads

Hi all,

 

I'm a newbie to this list, and to SIP, and I have a question: What is
the difference between DTMF event payload 100 and 101?

 

Are them both RFC2833?

 

I see this on an SDP capture:

 

Media Attribute (a): fmtp:100 0-15

 

And somebody told me that it should be 101 instead of 100 because most
carriers today don't even accept 100 anymore.
