[SIPForum-discussion] why not use sip extensions to replace with xcap

Hi all,

I wonder  why not use sip extensions(such as GET,ADD,DELETE,ACCEPT,DENY method) to replace with xcap to implement presence features (especially buddy list , block list feature)? 
 As far as I know , xcap is also complicated and require lots of components !

Any comments will be appreciated.
