[SIPForum-discussion] Does MSN use SIP

It depends on which version of Messenger you're using. 

Windows Messenger, and I think MSN Messenger 4.? use SIP. After that
version they moved away from SIP. 

Now Microsoft is moving back to SIP (MS Live Communications Server) so
expect SIP support in the latest versions of MSN messenger (not sure
which one).
