[SIPForum-discussion] Hi, Can we have methods like PRACK, REFER etc. in ALLOW header, though RFC 3261 mentions only INVITE, ACK, OPTIONS, CANCEL, BYE methods. If yes, then in what scenarios?

Hi,

You can have REFER in Allow Header. For PRACK, you should add 100rel in Supported Header or Require Header based on the requirement.

PRACK is used as an acknowledgemnt for reliable provisional response. Support for reliable provisional response indicates that there would be support for PRACK.
