SIP Forum will be hosting its second industry Webinar discussing the IMS
architecture and SIP protocol implications. The Webinar is open to
everyone worldwide and will take place Wednesday, November 2,
Noon-1:30PM EST (5:00-6:30PM GMT / 9:00-10:30AM PST). Come hear the
latest about IMS and SIP directly from the industry experts.  
 
The experts will include:

*	Rebecca Copeland, Core ViewPoint - Rebecca Copeland is an
independent Telecom consultant and analyst, specializing in IMS
architecture and SIP solutions. Rebecca began her career in IT,
developing applications for Tier 1 IT manufacturers (Honeywell and DEC,
now HP). Joining Marconi in 1994, Rebecca managed a range of Telecom
products, from Billing packages and Intelligent Networks to IP Voice
applications. Since 2000 Rebecca has focused solely on NGN intelligence,
SIP and IMS, driving the evolution of Marconi's IMS architecture,
bringing together integrated solutions with 3rd party applications. 
*	Jonathan Cummings, Data Connection  - With over 15 years in the
communications industry, Jonathan Cumming is VoIP Product Manager for
Data Connection's Network Protocol Group.  As the lead architect and
development manager, he launched Data Connection's highly successful
portable SIP source code toolkit.  Jonathan is currently working on the
company's portable software-based Session Border Controller. Jonathan is
the author of several white papers on SIP and IMS, and is a regular
speaker at VoIP industry events.  He holds a degree in Engineering from
Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD. 
*	Gordon Eddy, Empirix, Inc.  - Gordon Eddy is the Director of
Product Management for Lab (Infrastructure Test) Group at Empirix, Inc.
Over the past six years, Gordon's primary responsibilities have been to
bring new, innovative test solutions to the VoIP market place.  He
joined Hammer Technologies in 1999, one year before that company became
part of Empirix, Inc.  Prior to his arrival at Hammer, Gordon worked at
Teradyne for 13 years in a variety of roles ranging from test engineer
to senior product manager. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering
from University of Massachusetts-Lowell and MBA from Bentley College.

Presentation topics will include:

*	IMS Architecture 
*	SIP protocol impacts due to IMS  
*	IMS/SIP network test requirements
