[SIPForum-discussion] how to understand parameter "sent-by" and "received" in Via header field?

Hi,
  "sent-by" parameter is inserted by client transport, including ip, port;
  "received" parameter is added by server transport, refer to the source 
address from which the packet was received, I think the two parameter is 
the same duiring a transaction. how do you understand the two parameter? 
  expected your answer.
