Dear SIP Forum Member --

In accordance with the Bylaws of the SIP Forum, individuals on the
SIP Forum Board of Directors serve for two (2) year terms. At each
year's General Meeting, elections are held to vote for Directors.

At this year's General Meeting, three Director seats are open for
election. Nominations for Directors to be elected in this meeting
can be made by any member -- Participant or Full.

Nominations are open until August 1, 2005. If you would like to
nominate any person to serve as Director, please do the following:

- Send email to me, Jay Batson, Chairman of the Board, at the address
below, indicating the name and contact information for the nominee;

- The nominee should send to me -- before the expiration of the
nomination period -- a biographical paragraph, and a one-paragraph
statement that will be published to the voting membership indicating
why the nominee believes he/she wishes to serve as Director.

Final notes about Director elections:
1) Please note that, according to SIP Forum Bylaws, anyone can
nominate a person for Director, but only Full Members are entitled to
vote for Director nominees, which is done in conjunction with the
annual General Meeting.

2) For reference, some, but not all, of the Directors in the three
seats up for election are standing for re-election.

3) Directors do not "represent" a company or Full Member; they are
elected as individuals. (E.g. a different person from a company
cannot be "substituted" for another person who was duly elected; and
if a Forum Director leaves the employ of a company, he/she remains a
Director outside of that company.)

Thank you in advance for any nominations you provide.
Cheers
-jb
